Feed the Cops/Feed the Fire Returns for Another Year of Community Appreciation
At Jett Business Systems, supporting our local communities has always been part of who we are. We're proud to continue that tradition with the return of our annual FEED THE COPS & FEED THE FIRE events, dedicated to recognizing the police officers, firefighters, and first responders who serve the Ark-La-Tex every day.
Originally launched by Tim Jett in 2020, FEED THE COPS began as a simple way to say "thank you" to local law enforcement. The program expanded in 2023 with FEED THE FIRE, honoring the firefighters and emergency personnel who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. Together, these events now provide more than 1,000 meals each year to first responders across Caddo and Bossier Parishes.
This year's events took place on June 25-26, 2026, with meals prepared and served through partnerships with local favorites including Silver Star Smokehouse, Podnuh's BBQ, Bodacious Bar & Q, Down Home Meats, Brookshire Grocery Company, Sam's Club, and Eagle Distributing of Shreveport. Jett Business Systems employees and volunteers will personally deliver and serve meals at police departments and fire stations throughout the area.
"We're proud to show our appreciation with a meal for the law enforcement officers and first responders who give so much every day," said Tim Jett. "We know the job they do isn't easy—and FEED THE COPS and FEED THE FIRE is our small way of saying thank you for their service and sacrifice."
